Woodloch Pines Resort Celebrates 56 Years of Outstanding Staff and Service

Fifty-six years ago, a young couple from Long Island named Harry and Mary Kiesendahl purchased a small resort off the serene shores of Lake Teedyuskung, located in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. The original 12 acres included a main lodge, annex and two cottages, all of which accommodated about 40 guests. Fast forward to today, the property known as Woodloch Pines Resort encompasses over 1000 acres and can accommodate over 900 guests.

Woodloch Pines offers families a unique vacation experience fitting for everyone’s taste. Located just down the road are Woodloch Springs and The Lodge at Woodloch, the former an upscale residential community situated on an 18-hole championship golf course and the latter an award-winning luxury destination spa.

Committed to Woodloch’s original mission to “treat all guests as if they were company in their own homes,” today the Kiesendahl children, grandchildren, and Woodloch staff members as a whole carry on a tradition of excellence and warm hospitality. This enduring dedication to very personalized treatment of guests is what sets Woodloch apart from other resorts.
